The Historic Belmont Foundation protects and preserves historically significant architecture in and around Belmont, North Carolina.  Our vision is to help ensure that Belmont retains its historic character and charm through advocacy and education.  100% of all profits are invested into local preservations efforts, such as our revolving fund, historic district markers and education.

Working in historic preservation was supposed to be a short-term commitment that started 20 years ago, but it has became a life-long journey. I’m so fortunate to be able to live in a historic home and take part in preserving a part of local history. I believe that it is the responsibility of this generation to partner with others to preserve a sense of place for future generations to enjoy.
